Sometimes a mural isn’t right for a project. Perhaps there isn’t a suitable wall or a permanent site for a mural, sometimes a canvas is just preffered. Whatever the reason, when our clients want to commission a canvas, they come to Charlotte Designs.

Every canvas is priced individually, to get a quote for your painting, send us your preferred size, style and subject.
Commission a canvas
Commissioning a canvas is very exciting thing to do and we aim to make it as fun and straight forward as possible. We start with a conversation about what you want to achieve from your artwork and how you want it to look. We talk about where it will sit in your home (or wherever it will be) and from there come up with some ideas and sketch them out for you. The ideas may get bounced back and forth a bit, until the final design is agreed upon. Then you just leave it to us to paint.

At Charlotte Designs, we prodominantly work in acrylic paint. We can paint on canvasses ranging from 70cm x 40cm up to 150cm x 100cm. We can also paint on board, including boards suitable for exterior use. These are upto 240cm x 120cm. Multiple boards or canvasses can be used to create a larger painting.
We will send you progress shots throughout the process, so that you can see your canvas apprear and make any changes that you would like as the painting appears.
Getting your painting
You may want to come and collect your canvas from us, which is absolutely fine, otherwise, we can arrange to have it delivered by our tried and trusted courier. There is an additional charge for this, price is agreed prior to painting and depends on your location and the size of the canvas.
