Harvest barn farm shop

Harvest Barn is a lovely open farm with a cafe, outdoor play area and farm shop, based near Peterborough. The owners wanted to add extra shelving space to the shop area and had also received feedback from cafe customers, that having the shoppers wandering  through the cafe, felt a bit odd. The owner decided to kill two birds with one stone and set up 6 new shelving units, that backed onto the cafe, to provide both the additional display space and provide a barrier between shop and cafe.

This solution left him with the back of the shelves facing out into the cafe, which wasn’t pleasant to look at. He asked me to paint the backs of the shelves with the logo and a map showing all the parts of the business to encourage exploration. We picked some elements that he particularly wanted to promote, such as their delicious all day breakfasts and the opportunity for children to hand feed the animals and painted those on to create a pleasing mural.

The result has been very well received by staff and customers alike. “You have deloivered on every aspect that I hoped for.” said owner Baran. “I have received numerous feedback on the mural from customers and everyone loves the work you have done. A great big thank you from everyone at Harvest Barn!”
