Dining room landscape mural

When you have a beautiful Victorian house that you are refurbishing, creating interesting and unusual interiors becomes a full time job. My clients had chosen a wallpaper for their dining room, but it turned out that it wasn’t available in the UK, so they asked me to come up with a handpainted version of something similar. Once we had got talking, my clients realised that having something designed for them gave them the opportunity to personalise it, make it unique to them, so we included a view of Marlow where the house is. The colourway was important here and I went to a lot of trouble to ensure that the colours were exactly what my clients envisenged.
My thanks to my clients for such a lovely project, I enjoyed every moment of it. You can see a time lapse of the painting process here.
The result was beautiful, a very sophisticated and personal space which I enhanced at the 11th hour by adding my clients recently departed Westies.
